Assessment - What happens next
I've attended for a DSA Needs Assessment, what happens next?
- Step 1
- You will receive a Draft copy of your Needs Assessment Report (NAR) within 5 working days of the date of your Needs Assessment Interview.
- Step 2
- You will have 5 working days to accept the DRAFT NAR. You can either email/telephone the Assessor or Assessment Centre, or sign and return the slip at the bottom of the cover letter. If you do not respond to the DRAFT NAR within 5 working days, it is sent to your Funder as it reads.
- Step 3
- A final copy of the NAR is sent to the Funder within 48 hours of you responding to the draft version. A Final copy will also be sent to you and The Disability Officer (if you have given signed permission).
- Step 4
- You should receive written communication from your Funder within 15 working days of them receiving the FINAL NAR. Their correspondence will give you information of what to do next.
If you "opted out" of receiving a draft copy of the NAR Steps 1 and 2 do not apply.
If you have any queries or concerns regarding any of the above stages contact the Assessment Centre on 01244 513216 or email atop@chester.ac.uk.
