About ATOP
ATOP Limited has three bases in the North West of England as well as a fully equiped mobile centre.
The Centre at Chester is located within the main campus at Chester University in the heart of the city of Chester. The Campus is easily accessible by road and rail networks. The Centre is housed within Longfield House, which is located approximately 200 metres from the main campus entrance. Longfield House is accessed by a purpose built ramp with handrail and accessible front door. The Assessment Centre is located on the ground floor and consists of two fully accessible rooms.
Based in the heart of the City of Liverpool, the Corn Exchange is just a few minutes walk from James Street Train Station and James Street Interchange Bus Station. Fully equipped with the latest technology the Assessment Room is able to meet the needs of all disabled students. The fully accessible the centre can be found on the third floor of the Corn Exchange in Suite 328. Car Parking is available on request.
The Hope base has a fully accessible and equipped assessment room located along the corridor from the main Disability service. There is a staffed Reception area next to the Assessment Room and refreshments for students are available on arrival. Parking is provided nearby and includes parking spaces for those with restricted mobility. There is an Assessor at Liverpool Hope five days per week although all administrative tasks are carried out at the Centre in Chester. Students from across the North West and from surrounding Universities are able to undertake their assessments at either location.
The ATOP LTD Mobile Unit is a fully equipped and accessible Assessment Centre offering students the opportunity to undertake a full assessment of need within their own Institution under the Outreach provision arrangement (PDF). The ATOP Mobile is also available for home visits for those students who are unable to visit the Assessment Centre.
